Africa’s youngest billionaire, Ashish J.
Thakkar is intending to invest in
Calabar, Cross River State due to the
favorable business environment the
State government has created.
The Mara Group President made this
known during the 2013 edition of the
Africa CEO Roundtable and Conference
on Corporate Sustainability and
Responsibility (AR-CSR). He was a key
note speaker in the conference held at
Tinapa Business and Leisure Resort,
Calabar.
The Ugandan said his investment at
Cross River State will be part of his
effort in encouraging young
entrepreneurs improve their capacity.
“It is only when you give that you can
have more, especially when giving to a
group or society,” said the billionaire.
He told the audience that he professes
Nigeria as the best country
everywhere he goes and that Cross
River State had stamped his
conviction.
